- Crowns – These are fixed constructions that are set over natural teeth or implants and which compensate very damaged teeth or aesthetically unacceptable ones. To make the crown, it is necessary for tooth to be trimmed and prepared for setting the crown. Meanwhile, if necessary,we put a temporary crown. Crowns can be made of metal-porcelain(PFM), titan- porcelain or metal-free, zirconia crowns that are the most aesthetic crowns.
- Bridges – These are also fixed constructions that compensate one or more lost teeth, thus bridging the gaps of dental string and restoring full functionality and aesthetics of teeth. If there is no reconstruction the empty space between teeth, in any way,the remaining teeth will begin to move and cause other major problems, irregular bite, the possibility of developing periodontitis and so on. To place a bridge the neighboring teeth must be trimmed and prepared. Bridges can be made on implants if there are no natural teeth to support it, or they are not adequate to carry the bridge. Crown or bridge on implants can be made for patients who have lost one, several or all teeth. By setting 6-8 implants in a jaw, we can make a fixed bridge which reconstruct all teeth in the jaw.
