Mini implants are titanium implants, just like the standard implants, but because of their size they have different indications for use. They have smaller diameter and usually they are used for stabilization of the lower denture, solo implants in the lower front teeth, or other low pressure places in the mouth. Mini implants can be load sooner than the standard implants.
