Depending on the position and the number of teeth that are missing and need to be replaced, there are several types of implant solutions: Implants with fixed over-structure (bridge, crown), fixed by cementation or screwed to the implants, and mobile construction on implants.
- Implants and fixed construction over them
This is a method of solution with implants and bridges, where the implants serve as a roots of tooth, and over them there is fixed bridge imitating the tooth, which can be definitely cemented on the implant, or be screwed on them which occasionally enables unscrewing and professional cleaning at regular controls. - Implants and mobile construction
This method is a combination of a mobile prosthetics and implants that are attached to them with a bar or rings, and where implants function as an anchor for the prosthesis. Here, the advantage is that the prosthesis can be removed and cleaned every day, and its still stable because of the retention over the implants. In this option we can use mini implants for stabilizing the lower complete denture.
